“A Reply From CEO of J.P. Morgan To A Pretty Girl Seeking A Rich Husband”.. !

A young ‘n pretty lady posted this on a popular forum:

Title: What Should I do to Marry A Rich Guy?

I’m going to be honest of what I’m going to say here. I’m 25 this year. I’m very pretty, have style ‘n good taste. I wish to marry a guy with $500k annual salary or above.

You might say that I’m greedy, but an annual salary of $1M is considered only as middle class in New York.

My requirement is not high. Is there anyone in this forum who has an income of $500k annual salary? Are you all married?

I wanted to ask: what should I do to marry rich persons like you?

Among those I’ve dated, the richest is $250k annual income,’n it seems that this is my upper limit.

If someone is going to move into high cost residential area on the west of New York City Garden(?), $250k annual income is not enough.

I’m here humbly to ask a few questions:
1) Where do most rich bachelors hang out? (Please list down the names ‘n addresses of bars, restaurant, gym)
2) Which age group should I target?
3) Why most wives of the riches are only average-looking? I’ve met a few girls who don’t have looks ‘n are not interesting, but they are able to marry rich guys.
4) How do you decide who can be your wife, ‘n who can only be your girlfriend? (my target now is to get married)

Ms. Pretty

A Philosophical reply from CEO of J.P. Morgan:

Dear Ms. Pretty,
I have read your post with great interest. Guess there are lots of girls out there who have similar questions like yours. Please allow me to analyse your situation as a professional investor.

My annual income is more than $500k, which meets your requirement, so I hope
everyone believes that I’m not wasting time here.

From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry you. The answer is very simple, so let me explain.

Put the details aside, what you’re trying to do is an exchange of “beauty” ‘n “money” : Person A provides beauty,’n Person B pays for it, fair ‘n square.

However, there’s a deadly problem here, your beauty will fade, but my money will not be gone without any good reason. The fact is, my income might increase from year to year, but you can’t be prettier year after year.

Hence from the viewpoint of economics, I am an appreciation asset, ‘n you are a depreciation asset. It’s not just normal depreciation, but exponential depreciation. If that is your only asset, your value will be much worse 10 years later.

By the terms we use in Wall Street, every trading has a position, dating with you is also a “trading position”.
If the trade value dropped we will sell it ‘n it is not a good idea to keep it for long term – same goes with the marriage that you wanted. It might be cruel to say this, but in order to make a wiser decision any assets with great depreciation value will be sold or “leased”.

Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool; we would only date you, but will not marry you. I would advice that you forget looking for any clues to marry a rich guy. ‘n by the way, you could make yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income. This has better chance than finding a rich fool.

Hope this reply helps. If you are interested in “leasing” services, do contact me.

Steve Jobs leans against his wife, Laurene Powell Jobs

For all of his years in the spotlight at the helm of Apple, Steve Jobs in many ways remains an inscrutable figure — even in his death. Fiercely private, Jobs concealed most specifics about his personal life, from his curious family life to the details of his battle with pancreatic cancer — a disease that ultimately,at the age of 56.

While the CEO and co-founder of Apple steered most interviews away from the public fascination with his private life, there’s plenty we know about Jobs the person, beyond the Mac and the iPhone. If anything, the obscure details of his interior life paint a subtler, more nuanced portrait of how one of the finest technology minds of our time grew into the dynamo that we remember as of today.

1. Early life and childhood
Jobs was born in San Francisco on February 24, 1955. He was adopted shortly after his birth and reared near Mountain View, California by a couple named Clara and Paul Jobs. His adoptive father — a term that Jobs openly objected to — was a machinist for a laser company and his mother worked as an accountant.

Later in life, Jobs discovered the identities of his estranged parents. His birth mother, Joanne Simpson, was a graduate student at the time and later a speech pathologist; his biological father,Abdulfattah  John Jandali, was a Syrian Muslim who left the country at age 18 and reportedly now serves as the vice president of a Reno, Nevada casino. While Jobs reconnected with Simpson in later years, he and his biological father remain estranged.

2. College dropout

Reed college

The lead mind behind the most successful company on the planet never graduated from college, in fact, he didn’t even get close. After graduating from high school in Cupertino, California — a town now synonymous with 1 Infinite Loop, Apple’s headquarters — Jobs enrolled in Reed College in 1972. Jobs stayed at Reed (a liberal arts university in Portland, Oregon) for only one semester, dropping out quickly due to the financial burden the private school’s steep tuition placed on his parents.

In his famous 2005 commencement speechto Stanford University, Jobs said of his time at Reed: “It wasn’t all romantic. I didn’t have a dorm room, so I slept on the floor in friends’ rooms, I returned coke bottles for the 5 cent deposits to buy food with, and I would walk the seven miles across town every Sunday night to get one good meal a week at the Hare Krishna temple.”

3. Fibbed to his Apple co-founder about a job at Atari
Jobs is well known for his innovations in personal computing, mobile tech, and software, but he also helped create one of the best known video games of all-time. In 1975, Jobs was tapped by Atari to work on the Pong-like game Breakout.

Breakout for the Atari

He was reportedly offered $750 for his development work, with the possibility of an extra $100 for each chip eliminated from the game’s final design. Jobs recruited Steve Wozniak (later one of Apple’s other founders) to help him with the challenge. Wozniak managed to whittle the prototype’s design down so much that Atari paid out a $5,000 bonus — but Jobs kept the bonus for himself, and paid his unsuspecting friend only $375, according to Wozniak’s own autobiography.

4. The wife he leaves behind
Like the rest of his family life, Jobs kept his marriage out of the public eye. Thinking back on his legacy conjures images of him commanding the stage in his trademark black turtleneck and jeans, and those solo moments are his most iconic. But at home in Palo Alto, Jobs was raising a family with his wife, Laurene, an entrepreneur who attended the University of Pennsylvania’s prestigious Wharton business school and later received her MBA at Stanford, where she first met her future husband.

For all of his single-minded dedication to the company he built from the ground up, Jobs actually skipped a meeting to take Laurene on their first date: “I was in the parking lot with the key in the car, and I thought to myself, ‘If this is my last night on earth, would I rather spend it at a business meeting or with this woman?’ I ran across the parking lot, asked her if she’d have dinner with me. She said yes, we walked into town and we’ve been together ever since.”

In 1991, Jobs and Powell were married in the Ahwahnee Hotel at Yosemite National Park, and the marriage was officiated by Kobin Chino, a Zen Buddhist monk.

5. His sister is a famous author
Later in his life, Jobs crossed paths with his biological sister while seeking the identity of his birth parents. His sister, Mona Simpson (born Mona Jandali), is the well-known author of Anywhere But Here — a story about a mother and daughter that was later adapted into a film starring Natalie Portman and Susan Sarandon.

After reuniting, Jobs and Simpson developed a close relationship. Of his sister, he told a New York Times interviewer: “We’re family. She’s one of my best friends in the world. I call her and talk to her every couple of days.” Anywhere But Here is dedicated to “my brother Steve.”

6. Celebrity romances

Joan Baez

In The Second Coming of Steve Jobs, an unauthorized biography, a friend from Reed reveals that Jobs had a brief fling with folk singer Joan Baez. Baez confirmedthe the two were close “briefly,” though her romantic connection with Bob Dylan is much better known (Dylan was the Apple icon’s favorite musician). The biography also notes that Jobs went out with actress Diane Keaton briefly.

7. His first daughter
When he was 23, Jobs and his high school girlfriend Chris Ann Brennan conceived a daughter, Lisa Brennan Jobs. She was born in 1978, just as Apple began picking up steam in the tech world. He and Brennan never married, and Jobs reportedly denied paternity for some time, going as far as stating that he was sterile in court documents. He went on to father three more children with Laurene Powell. After later mending their relationship, Jobs paid for his first daughter’s education at Harvard. She graduated in 2000 and now works as a magazine writer.

8. Alternative lifestyle
In a few interviews, Jobs hinted at his early experience with the psychedelic drug LSD. Of Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Jobs said: “I wish him the best, I really do. I just think he and Microsoft are a bit narrow. He’d be a broader guy if he had dropped acid once or gone off to an ashram when he was younger.”

The connection has enough weight that Albert Hofmann, the Swiss scientist who first synthesized (and took) LSD, appealed to Jobs for funding for research about the drug’s therapeutic use.

In a book interview, Jobs called his experience with the drug “one of the two or three most important things I have done in my life.” As Jobs himself has suggested, LSD may have contributed to the “think different” approach that still puts Apple’s designs a head above the competition.

Jobs will forever be a visionary, and his personal life also reflects the forward-thinking, alternative approach that vaulted Apple to success. During a trip to India, Jobs visited a well-known ashram and returned to the U.S. as a Zen Buddhist.

Jobs was also a pescetarian who didn’t consume most animal products, and didn’t eat meat other than fish. A strong believer in Eastern medicine, he sought to treat his own cancer through alternative approaches and specialized diets before reluctantly seeking his first surgery for a cancerous tumor in 2004.

9. His fortune
As the CEO of the world’s most valuable brand, Jobs pulled in a comically low annual salary of just $1. While the gesture isn’t unheard of in the corporate world  — Google’s Larry Page, Sergey Brin, and Eric Schmidt all pocketed the same 100 penny salary annually — Jobs has kept his salary at $1 since 1997, the year he became Apple’s lead executive. Of his salary, Jobs joked in 2007: “I get 50 cents a year for showing up, and the other 50 cents is based on my performance.”

In early 2011, Jobs owned 5.5 million shares of Apple. After his death, Apple shares were valued at $377.64 — a roughly 43-fold growth in valuation over the last 10 years that shows no signs of slowing down.

He may only have taken in a single dollar per year, but Jobs leaves behind a vast fortune. The largest chunk of that wealth is the roughly $7 billion from the sale of Pixar to Disney in 2006. In 2011, with an estimated net worth of $8.3 billion, he was the 110th richest person in the world, according to Forbes. If Jobs hadn’t sold his shares upon leaving Apple in 1985 (before returning to the company in 1996), he would be the world’s fifth richest individual.

While there’s no word yet on plans for his estate, Jobs leaves behind three children from his marriage to Laurene Jobs (Reed, Erin, and Eve), as well as his first daughter, Lisa Brennan-Jobs.

Here’s wishing all my fellow bloggers and friends…..”A VERY HAPPY DIWALI AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR”…..May this festive season bring in lots of success and happiness in your life…..

Love on Facebook!!!!

Ever seriously thought about this….Are we really on such a big time generation leap and so very technologically developed….that now even the most beautiful feeling in the world….LOVE…has to rely on social networking…..Gone are the days when pigeons  were messengers of love….Now the latest trend is get committed on YAHOO MESSENGER:P…..

Ahem….Whenever I think about this….I feel that we human beings are on the verge of becoming robots….If the current scenario continues….Soon enough we might be romancing gadgets instead of live human beings….So, actually how and when did this happen….Can we do anything to stop the human race from becoming emotional wrecks…Lets see….

1) The first and foremost problem which comes into the scene when a guy wishes to propose to the “Girl of His Dreams”….is  literal insecurity….not about her answer…But about himself (This happens more often if you are unfortunate enough to fall for the college bombshell)…..The guy will scrutinize and keep thinking of all the ways to make his proposal so exciting that the gal cannot deny it….But in all this thinking process….Some other guy will walk away with the cake:P….So,actually social networks like Facebook solve this problem outright….You can just make your profile interesting, add up things about yourself that may not be even remotely close to the REAL YOU….wins the gal within record time…..

2) The second reason for the popularity of these sites is the social rise that they give to your quite bruised status….You might be all time loser in reality but on Facebook…You become over-night Star….Gals die to meet you…while in reality even the gal next door would not care to look at your face for hell’s sake….

3) You can actually get hooked up with anyone who might be miles away…..Chances are that you might even fall in love with them…..Dream about marriage, kids and having secure future for both of you….Voila,at times all of this planning happens within just one week of interaction:P (No wonder India’s population is on Rise)….

These are just some of the many reasons of why we are so badly hooked, booked and cooked up with Facebook…..It defines our life and makes us wonder if we can really survive without are online virtual IMAGE….Ok,so lets burst some bubbles about the latest trends of falling in “Love on Facebook”

1)   The concept of sweet old “Puppy Love” is today out of date….The sweet nothings….the promises….the long wait for each other after separation and then the joy and ecstasy of meeting up with your LONG LOST LOVE….How can you ever experience all this on social site….I mean fine…you can chat and know about the person….But you can never be sure that the person you are talking to is real or imposter….There are so many fake profiles on Facebook…..So why take a chance and wound your little heart….Puppy Love may be out of date and not in sync with today’s generation like Facebook is….But there are less chances of you getting your heart broken if you know that the person you are falling for….is real….and will hold onto You forever and forever…..(never let you fall:P)

2) The next thing is why to create a fake image of yourself just to impress someone….Why can’t we be the “ORIGINAL”…..If one has to fake things to gain Love….then how can that Love be true…if foundation is on lies….How will the relationship sustain….Some day….Some how that person will know the Real You….So then why take the risk of becoming a imposter for that one….Whom you love the most…..If the person truly loves they are bound to accept you with your Good and Bad qualities….If they can’t….then be happy….because You just saved yourself all that pain and heartache…..Which is bound to happen once the other person finds out the truth about you…..Let your Love know the real person that you are…..That spells a stronger relationship…..

3) Last but not the least….Your gal will never be bothered about what your social status on Facebook is or how you sound to the world….The only things that matter to her are your love and affection…which but obvious can never be shared on Facebook….Here’s a complete list of things that your gal might just expect…but would never ever say so….

Actually talk to her…. Share secrets with her…. Give her your jacket….Kiss her slowly….Hug her….Hold her…Laugh with her….Invite her somewhere….Hangout with her and your friends together…. Smile with her…. Take pictures with her……When her friends say “I love her more than you”, deny it. Fight back and hug her tight so she can’t get to her friends. It makes her feel loved….Always hug her and say I love you whenever you see her…..Kiss her unexpectedly…. Tell her she’s beautiful….Tell her the way you feel about her.

Open doors for her, walk her to her car – it makes her feel protected, plus it never hurts to act like a gentleman….Tell her she’s your everything – only if you mean it….If it seems like there is something wrong, ask her – if she denies something being wrong, it means SHE DOESN’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT – so just hug her….. Make her feel loved…..DON’T cheat on her….Take her ANYWHERE she wants….Text message or call her in the morning and tell her have a good day  and how much you miss her…..Be there for her whenever she needs you, and even when she doesn’t need you, just be there so she’ll know that she can always count on you…. Hold her close when she’s cold so she can hold you too….. When people diss her, stand up for her…. Look deep into her eyes and tell her you love her….When walking next to each other grab her hand…..Call or text her at night to wish her sweet dreams….Comfort her when she cries and wipe away her tears….Take her for long walks at night….Always remind her how much you love her…..

So,friends….Think about it….Romance is something that is tied up to the heart….don’t tie it to your computer’s keyboard…Let your computer be used ONLY for the official work….and go and find out that one person…who is just made for you….Share the most precious moments in your life with your Love….Gift her flowers (although we don’t mind diamonds at times)….You can never do that on Facebook…..Trust me all you can do is sent her farmville and cityville requests and add to her anger……Fall in love….IN REAL!!!!!

This is a true story of Mother’s Sacrifice during the China Earthquake.
After the Earthquake had subsided, when the rescuers reached the ruins of a young woman’s house, they saw her dead body through the cracks. But her pose was somehow strange that she knelt on her knees like a person was worshiping; her body was leaning forward, and her two hands were supporting by an object. The collapsed house had crashed her back and her head.

With so many difficulties, the leader of the rescuer team put his hand through a narrow gap on the wall to reach the woman’s body. He was hoping that this woman could be still alive. However, the cold and stiff body told him that she had passed away for sure.
He and the rest of the team left this house and were going to search the next collapsed building. For some reasons, the team leader was driven by a compelling force to go back to the ruin house of the dead woman. Again, he knelt down and used his had through the narrow cracks to search the little space under the dead body. Suddenly, he screamed with excitement,” A child! There is a child! “
The whole team worked together; carefully they removed the piles of ruined objects around the dead woman. There was a 3 months old little boy wrapped in a flowery blanket under his mother’s dead body. Obviously, the woman had made an ultimate sacrifice for saving her son. When her house was falling, she used her body to make a cover to protect her son. The little boy was still sleeping peacefully when the team leader picked him up.

The medical doctor came quickly to exam the little boy. After he opened the blanket, he saw a cell phone inside the blanket. There was a text message on the screen. It said,” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” This cell phone was passing around from one hand to another. Every body that read the message wept. ” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” Such is the mother’s love for her child!!

( I don’t know the original source of this article….I read it somewhere and found it really compelling enough to be shared with you all….Hope this story touches your heart as much as it touched mine….)

Wherever You go….

My Hearts follows Your Trail,

My love you know,

You are my Life’s Grail…

I miss you when I’m awake,

You creep in my dreams,

My emotions are not fake,

You are my absolute Gleam!!!

Every time….I try hard,

To forget you forever,

But every time…. I get charred,

Will I forget you ever???

I wish to run away,

From memories…so strong,

But they always stay,

Making me feel so wrong….

When You were with me,

I did not know your worth,

Now….I’m lost in a Sea,

You are my biggest Dearth…

When I rejoice,

Why do I recall you???

You are still my Inner voice,

A cold wind of sorrow blew!!!

Will you come back ever,

My Heart asks forever,

Wherever You go….

My heart follows your trail!!!

Five Point Someone Vs 3 Idiots….

I have a huge appetite for good films….basically this is just one of the many facts responsible for my hatred of adaptations based on literal works…These movies just kill the soul of the book and show literally a loose version of the dynamic original, just to fit in the story within the 3 hours time frame….I have absolutely loathed  films like these for as long as I can remember….But then came the movie 3 Idiots and the world changed….because this movie not just broke records and set the cash counters ringing…But for the first the audience was given visual treat of book….which was so encapsulating!!!!

The movie 3 idiots is adaptation of the most famous Indian work ” Five Point Someone”….although the story was based on this book….I had say their are not many comparisons and this movie surely differs in the fact that it was not direct repetition of scenes from the book…But had its own unique heart and soul….

The movie is based on the trials and tribulations of Rancho ( Rancchoddas Shamaldas Chanchad and his friends Farhan Qureshi (Madhavan), Raju Rastogi (Sharman Joshi)…..who study in Imperial college of Engineering(while in the book the friends are Hari,Ryan and Alok, studying in IIT)…..Throughout the movie,Farhan acting as the narrator takes us on a journey into their past where life taught them many lessons which books could not….The movie starts off with the search of Rancho….who it is shown has not been in with either of friends from long time….Chatur “Silencer” Ramalingam,(Omi Vaidya) their old classmate and biggest rival who just believes in mindless studies…..  fools them into coming back to their college one fine day to remind them of 5 years old challenge to prove who will be the most successful out of them in long race….from there they set off to Shimla….

3 Idiots-Farhan,Rancho,Raju

On the way,Farhan narrates the story….of how he joined ICE because it was his parents wish and not his to become engineer and how Raju ended up in college to get a degree and be the bread winner of his family….The first scene is really hilarious where seniors are ragging the new comers and  Rancho walks in….not only does he give shock treatment to the senior guy who tries to rag him…But the next day,he incurs the wrath of their dean  Prof.Vino Sahastrabuddhe, called as Virus who comes the hostel to give the first years a lecture about competition-“Life begins with murder. If you don’t compete, you will die.”…. by diverting question back on him…..I just love this scene because it actually shows that many of our so called intelligent professors are so busy churning merit rankers that they themselves forget the reality and get stuck with the syllabus…..In between is the most crucial scene where a student called Lobo commits suicide when Virus does nt give him an extension for his project….On his funeral,Rancho actually accuses the Dean and the system for Lobo’s death (I’ll say this guy had some guts!!!!)…which further infuriates Virus….

Virus-Prof.Viru Sahastrabudhe

So our young hero Rancho does all that is possible to irritate the professors….particularly the scene where the professor asks him to explain the meaning of the word “MACHINE”….he does it in simple words only to be mocked by the prof who wants the bigger definition from the books….Taking the chance in his hands,Silencer babbles out the definition….But Rancho steals the thunder off when getting miffed the prof asks him to leave the class…while leaving Rancho deliberately gives the definition of the word BOOK instead of straight away saying the word book itself….explaining it later to the prof that he only judges bookish scrap and not the simpler things in life…I just love this scene as well….(In the book this scene varies where the prof asks the students the meaning of Machine and since the students are very shy on their first day of college, the prof gives the simple definition which in the movie has been tossed off to Aamir)

In between our hero also finds time to fall in love with Pia( Kareena Kapoor) who is medical student and Virus’s daughter…. he first met her at her sisters bauquet which all 3 of them gate crash…Rancho very cleverly even breaks off her engagement to NRI who is another laugh of the town like Silencer( In the book it is Hari, the narrator who falls for Neha, daughter of their department Head Prof.Cherian and unlike Pia,Neha is not medical student….but fashion designing student instead)….

The Beautiful Pia...

The story takes a turn when Virus orders Farhan and Raju to choose between their studies or their friendship with Rancho….Raju being scaredy-crow….gives in and shifts to Silencer’s room….In between there is yet another hilarious scene where on Teacher’s day,Silencer has to give a speech in hindi….Since he doesn’t know the language,he gets it written from the librarian(where Farhan and Rancho manage to get away with both the librarian and Silencer for sometime and change the script)…..On Teacher’s Day,Silencer vomits out the whole script without knowing that what he was saying was all wrong…Then Rancho tries to talk sense to Raju that studying without understanding the concept leads to mishaps like this:P….Ultimately, Raju comes back when Rancho saves his ill father’s life….That scene taught me the most imporatant lesson in my life….THAT TRUE FRIENDS ALWAYS STAY WITH US….NO MATTER WHERE WE GO….

Now romance between both Pia and Rancho blossoms off…i just loved their on-screen chemistry(all the DEMONSTRATIONS that Rancho gives to Pia to make her understand her point)….The most funny thing is that Rancho dreams about Pia every night….but in the night he finds that he is unable to kiss her….because the NOSE comes in between….

Things get a bit off hand….when both Raju and Farhan challenge Rancho bored of his all time accusations that both of them are not following their dream….This scene has one  of  Rancho’s strong quotes that-Make your passion your profession.…They tell him to propose Pia and say that if he manages so,Farhan will take up wild life photography which is his dream and confront his parents about his parents….Raju promises that he will stop being superstitious…..Things are all fine as our drunken Hero jumps into his lady-love’s room and in darkness instead of her proposes to his elder pregnant sister Mona(yet another fuuny scene….where you just can’t stop laughing)….even manages to make the unborn child kick his mother with his “ALL IZ WELL” slogan…..until of course Virus catches them running off….The next day,Virus storms into their classroom and questions all three of them….this scene is my favorite where Virus asks Raju how does induction engine starts…But Raju is drunk and says “broom! brooooooooooom! broooom!” in front of the class embarassing the campus director. Virus then threatens Raju of being expelled if he doesn’t confess against Rancho….being unable to choose between his friend and Career…Raju jumps off the third floor….and has to be hospitalized….This is where the real friendship tone sets in…..Rancho works day in and day out to cure Raju…

Finally,on the discharge day,we get to see changed Raju and Farhan…who accept that whatever Rancho had been saying was right(this is where I think that the movie is better than the book….because in the book Ryan comes up with a plan called” Cooperate to Dominate” where all three of them decide to cheat and work less…but ultimately they just make a bigger mess of things….while in the movie,Rancho actually makes his friends life better)…..A valuable lesson learned was “Always Follow your Dreams and Don’t compromise for anyone or anything”…..Farhan manages to convince his parents and Raju gets the job…which further irks Virus who decides to spoil their joy by setting difficult question paper to fail Raju…..Pia learns about this and decides to help them….

The next scene is my favorite…where Pia steals her father’s office keys, gets drunk and lands up in Rancho’s room…..She tells him about Virus plans and gives him the keys….the most funny thing about this scene is Pia’s comparison of the Gujarati food with bombs….The way she says that the food items Dhokala sounds like America bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki….gets you in splits….(the scene is different in book where Hari steals the keys and when they get caught…..He puts the blame on Neha…who gets heart-broken)

Afraid that Raju may fail….Rancho and Farhan try to steal the question paper but get caught instead….Virus expels both of them….which infuriates Pia and she confronts her father with the bitter truth of her brother’s suicide…..who died because he was unable to get into ICE as Virus wanted him to…..and rushes back to her hospital….It starts raining heavily as Rancho and friends pack their bags and about to leave when they find Mona in car….crying in pain as her labors have started…..Pia is not able to come back because of heavy rains….So,she instructs Rancho on webcam and Rancho does the delivery via VOIP that he himself creates…. After the baby is apparently stillborn, Rancho resuscitates the baby. Virus reconciles with Rancho and his friends, and allows the trio to stay for their final exams.

The next scene brings us back in present…where all three of them have reached Shimla….only to find another guy( Javed Jaffrey) is actually Rancho and their friend was just a servant in their house,Chhote….because he was very much interested in studies….real Rancho’s father had bargain with him that he will pays the fees for his education….but after that Chhote has to give his Degree to Rancho…..which of course Chhote does to never come and meet his friends….From the real Rancho, they learn that Chhote is now working in school in Ladakh….Silencer finds this amusing and starts mocking Chhote saying that he is just school teacher…..while he (silencer) is now vice president of his company…..In between we get to know that Silencer is in bid to get a contract from well known scientist Phunsukh Wangdu…..On the way,Farhan has yet again intriguing thought about Rancho-“Today my respect for that idiot shot up. Most of us went to college just for a degree. No degree meant no plum job, no pretty wife, no credit card, no social status. But none of this mattered to him, he was in college for the joy of learning, he never cared if he was first or last. ”

So before leaving for Ladakh…Farhan and Raju again gate crash into wedding…..But this time it’s Pia….They make her realise that since she always loved Chhote, she should get back to him….All fur of them then set off to Ladakh….There they reach a school…which is full of children working on inventions that only Chhote could mastermind…simple devices for daily use….Pia goes on scooter to meet Chhote….The scene is like dream sequence….But Chhote’s dream breaks when she gets down from the scooter and slaps him hard for leaving her and going away…they later reconcile and kiss to make up…..

Silencer mocks Chhote for being school teacher and gets Declaration of Defeat signed from him…..Only to find later that Chhote himself is Phunsukh Wangdu…..The last scene is hilarious where Silencer runs the trio and begs Chhote to sign the contract for his company…..The movie ends with the most famous dialogue-Pursue for excellence, success will chase you”.…..All in all….this movie is big time entertainer…..This is the first time that may be I can say….that I just LOVED the adaptation of the book more than the book itself….A must watch!!!!

I Too Had Love Story….

The best feeling in the world is to FALL in love….better than that is to be loved in return….A person in love is not on cloud nine but on cloud twelve or may be even twenty….Dreaming and rejoicing every moment of being in Love…..Everything around suddenly seems so nice ( Even that disgusting neighbor next door whom you might have loathed for as long as you have known her and hated her existence)….But when you are in Love, even such aunties and all other things that disgusted you, will melt your heart….If you have loved someone from the core….then surely “I Too Had Love Story” will bring tears to your eyes and rib your heart out…..

The novel brings you to real life incident from the Author Ravinder Singh’s life…..where he narrates his heart wrenching story of “Having loved and Lost”….The story starts off on breezy note where Ravin goes to meet his college buddies Amardeep,Happy and Manpreet…All four friends had not met after graduating from their college and were meeting up at Happy’s place….After catching up on all the good old times….The four friends sit together and discuss their future….In prospects of MARRIAGE….when Amardeep suggests the use of matrimonial sites like for the perfect match….Although the remaining three laugh off the topic….the idea strikes a cord with Ravin….After his friends go back, one fine day when he is all alone and workload is less….Ravin creates a profile of himself and starts checking out gals profiles on the site…..Many weeks pass by,but Ravin never gets any positive feedback….

Absolutely fed up….Ravin gives up the option of finding the perfect gal for him on this site…..When suddenly one day he gets a message from a gal named Khushi who tells him that she had seen his profile and wanted to talk to him….Their casual talks about their interests, their likes and dislikes….leads to conversations day in and night out….Ultimately,Ravin become Khushi’s “Shona”…..THEY ARE IN LOVE….The author then takes you on a joy-ride where you get to actually feel their happiness and togetherness….Their Love in times of distress….Their arguments…..the sweet nothings which get them back together….Their love for the rain….Being miles away and without even seeing each other…..Both of them are madly in Love…..

The story takes a twist when Ravin has to suddenly leave for U.S because of some important work….The thought of 11 weeks of separation takes such a a big toll on them….That both decide to meet up before he leaves….So,Lover Boy flies all the way to Faridabad to meet his Lady love….The author manages to keep curiosity levels up as to how will Khushi look….How will their first meeting be…. until he finally lands up and we become witness to their first meeting….From here, starts their Love Story with new characters added in….Now in the picture,we are acquainted with the family memebers on both sides….You rock with happiness when finally everyone at Khushi’s home accepts him as their future son-in-law…..In between we are given a candid sneak peak in run away incident where both Khushi and Ravin lie at Khushi’s home so that they could go out together and have some moments of togetherness….but get caught instead….But their love shows when Ravin’s takes the entire blame on himself and saves his better half (which he himself mentions many times in the novel…because he considers Khushi not his girlfriend…But his wife)…..

Ravin leaves for U.S and despite having difficult schedules…both of then squeeze time out to be with each other….By talking whenever possible and having sleepless nights at times….Then the ordeal ends and Ravin comes back…You can actually feel the joy that Khushi experiences and can’t help being a part of it….Ultimately, the day arrives when both of them are about to get engaged….You can feel the ecstasy of all the celebrations on swing for the engagement going on….Khushi is going mad thinking of getting engaged to the Man of her Dreams….Ravin actually manages to take you straight to the scene as if you are actually there….

Then suddenly tragic strikes in….Like all good times comes to end….Ravin’s most beautiful dream crashes and get shattered….A day before the engagement,Khushi meets with an accident….Despite all attempts by Ravin and their Family members and despite all their prayers….She succumbs to her injuries….The last part of novel attempts look down on Ravin’s life….who still is trying hard to forget her….The last incident in the novel touches your heart when Ravin’s is in garden sitting beside a mother….who is watching her little girl play on swing….When the girl falls down, the mother shouts little girl’s name….on which being unable to resist himself….Ravin rushes to help the girl….and feels good on seeing that the little girl is all right….It is when he asks her mother the girl’s name once again to confirm if he heard it right….The mother confirms the name….Khushi…..

I know….we must have read many stories with similar endings where lovers get separated….But I just loved the emotions that the Author has poured into the story….Only a person who has truly loved and lost will understand this pain….If you are looking for a book, that gives in to a fresh breath of air….”I Too Had A Love Story” should be high on your list….Come and fall in Love….Because there can never be better tribute to your Loved one than to make her Name so Famous….that everyone remembers and loves her as much as You did( It’s not necessary that every lover has to built in a TAJ MAHAL for his beloved)……even a simple expression of love like this book is enough to last for lifetime…..Ravin has done it for Khushi!!!!!

There have been very few movies which have been able to leave back their impression on my mind….I’m big time movie freak…But there are very few movies which have kept me tied up to my seat till the very end…This may be due the fact that I never watch movies for the namesake of the actors and actresses….I have no favorites…If I watch a movie, its purely because the story must be captivating enough to divert my attention from all my important works….Arundhati is one such movie…..

The movie starts off with a breezy introduction of Arundhati (Anushka Shetty),who is the Great Grand Daughter of King of Gadhwal,Mahasamsthan…..Arrangements are underway for her marriage with Rahul ( Arjun Bajwa)….During the engagement ceremony,we hear the deadly sounds of the villain Pasupathi who is shown lusting for her…..She goes with her family to Gadhwal, for final visit before her marriage…..Where a misleading phone call leads her to Mahasamsthan….There the evil spirit of Pasupathi speaks with her and promises to avenge her…..Confused and terrified,Arundhati rushes back home…..where Chandramma (Manorama),a middle aged maid servant tells her the story of Queen Jejjamma….

We are taken into a flashback where the young Princess Arundhati (Divya Nagesh) is introduced….Fondly called as “Jejjamma” by her people….She is shown to be akin to injustice and loved by her people for her valour….When you look at the little gir’sl majestic walk down the staircase in the palace…Its Royalty re-defined….an expert in painting, dancing and martial arts….She is shown as “Ruler in making”….

Young Princess Arundhati

The next introduction is of Pasupathi, the villain and his mother….He is married to the King’s elder daughter and Arundhati’s sister….Pasupathi and  his mother torture her but she never mentions about it to the King fearing Arundhati’s wrath….Pasupathi is womanizer who rapes the women in the village and kills those who do not succumb to him…His mother supports him in all his bad deeds….while his wife silently bears everything…..

Things get worse when a blind teacher is brought in to teach the princess the famed “Drum Dance”…..The moment Pasupathi sees her,he starts lusting for her……Your heart escapes a beat when the blind teacher teaches the dance steps to the Princess and tells her the importance of the dance form….Despite being blind….she catches hold of the sounds being made by the drum and puts up a outstanding performance….

Blind Teacher

When Jejjamma goes away for a while,Pasupathi brutally rapes and kills the Teacher….Unable to bear the humiliation that Jejjamma has learned the truth about her husband….Elder Princess commits suicide….In anger,Jejjamma seeks revenge and gets Pasupathi thrashed from her people….He is tied to his own Horse legs….The people rejoice thinking that he is dead….Unaware that,Pasupathi is saved by the Aghoras (practitioners of Black Magic)….He stays with them and learns the Dark Arts….

Next,we taken 1o years ahead….It is wedding day of Jejjamma….Gadhwal is celebrating the marriage of their beloved Princess….Jejjamma grows up to be celestial beauty….

Arundhati in her Bridal Glow....

As the festivity is on…Pasupathi retrns to Gadhwal and starts killing everyone….He kills the King as well….But when his eyes fall on Arundhati,he forgets his revenge and starts lusting for her….He commands her to perform the “Drum Dance” for him or else he would kill everyone in the palace….To save all her people from Pasupathi’s evil magic….Jejjamma performs the dance….This is my favorite part of the movie….Because the grace with which Anushka dances and then swirls around to catch hold off the swords in remote corners of the room with dupatta to trigger them at Pasupathi is breath taking…..I just forgot myself….This particular scene showed the intelligence of Ruler….True to her spirits…..

Pasupathi commanding Jejjamma

Triggering the swords,Jejjamma cleverly cuts off Pasupathi’s tongue and stops him from reciting incantations….She then cuts off the ropes of the chandelier and pulls it down on Pasupathi….The act was really unparalleled….But she spares his life,to prevent him becoming “PRETATMA”…..He is buried alive in tomb which is protected with powerful yantras (defensive spells) from the holy Vedas….Three days later he dies….Jejjamma hears his voice in her sleep and goes to Mahasamsthan, where the spirit of Pasupathi swears to avenge her and her people…. His evil spirit afflicts bad omens in the village because of which people start dying…..

To protect them,Jejjamma meets the Siddhas (Holy Sages)…..She goes through immense torture and even sacrifices her own life….The act where the Siddhas kill her by striking her with coconuts leaves you terrified…..She is burned and her bones are reconciled into the form of Dagger….The only weapon which can kill Pasupathi forever…..

We are bought out of the the flashback….where a worker in trance to save his wife from the evil spirit of Pasupathi’s mother breaks pen the tomb and releases his spirit….All hell breaks loose with this….Pasupathi starts killing people from Arundhati’s family….Enter Anwar (Sayaji Shinde)…..who treats patient with his sorcery powers….He tells Arundhati that she is reincarnation of Jejjamma and was born to kill Pasupathi….and to protect her people……This is where You can see the massive differences between Jejjamma and Arundhati….Jejjamma was strong person and courageous who died for people….But Arundhati is shown to be very frail and timid….

What ensues next is cat and mouse race….Where Arundhati tries to get her family safely out of Gadhwal….But fails miserably….She is left with no option but fight him when Pasupathi commands her to surrender herself to him by night or else he kill her whole family….From a portrait of Jejjamma( it has minute inscriptions in the form of words)…..Arundhati learns of the dagger….Along with Anwar, she goes in search of Siddhas….But Anwar meets with an accident and falls off the cliff…..Thinking that Anwar is dead,Arundhati walks back to the Palace to surrender to Pasupathi….He orders Arundhati to wear Jejjamma’s bridal cloths and jewellery….and torments her….Just then Anwar arrives in time to save Arundhati from Pasupathi’s clutches….Anwar had escaped the fall and finally reached the Siddhas….They give him the dagger and tell him that it has to be soaked in Arundhati’s blood for it to be effective enough to kill Pasupathi….But before Anwar can tell Arundhati about it….Pasupathi kills him….

Arundhati tries to kill Pasupathi with Dagger but fails….Ultimately in an attempt to save herself,Arundhati tries to kill herself  with the Dagger and soaks in it her blood….The dagger glows and she realizes every thing….She then slays the evil spirit with her Dagger….

This story in true sense symbolizes the strength Of Women….It establishes the fact that even a Women Ruler can give up her life for people and protect them the way….A male ruler does….The sheer confidence with which Anushka portrayed the Queen Jejjamma was exceptional…..This film is must watch….For everyone who loves Horror with “ROYAL TOUCH”

The star of my skylight!!!!

I can feel your smiles,

Your whisper…I hear,

Your laughs….I endear!!!

When you are not near,

It sends down a chill,

When you are not here!!!

Our times together,

In sorrows and joys,

Like the birds of same Feather,

Our memories are my poise!!!

In this world all over,

But you are my Life’s extreme,

Like the white snow’s shower!!!!

My love for you is deep,
